Product Care

Turkish Towels Care Instructions:

For optimal softness and longevity, we recommend washing your Turkish cotton towel before first use. This simple step helps the fibers loosen and fluff up, resulting in a plush and absorbent towel. Please note that the towel may shrink slightly after the first wash, settling to its intended size.

Do not use bleach. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can reduce absorbency by coating the fibers with silicone.

Air dry flat or hang them. Turkish towels can handle low-heat tumble drying in a gentle cycle, as higher temperatures may cause wrinkling and shrinkage.

For stains, spot clean with a non-bleach stain remover. Alternatively, a mixture of one part baking soda and one part white vinegar can effectively treat some spills and stains.

Throw Blankets Care Instructions:

Machine wash cold or on a gentle cycle with similar colours, up to 30°C.

Do not bleach.

Preferably, air dry flat or hang the blankets. They can also handle low-heat tumble drying in a gentle cycle. During the initial cycles, expect some shedding, but this will decrease over time, leaving you with a soft and smooth blanket. You may choose to wash them separately during the shedding period.

For stains, spot clean with a non-bleach stain remover. A mixture of one part baking soda and one part white vinegar can also be effective.

Tassels

Tassels may loosen up and untie over time. Before washing your towels and/or throw blankets, gently tighten the knots of the tassels. This occasional maintenance can prevent them from coming undone. If they do come undone:

- For hand-knotted tassels, simply knot them back together.

- For hand-twisted tassels, follow these steps:

1) Twist each thread section counter-clockwise. Hold from the end of the threads to keep them twisted.

2) Bring them together still holding from the ends.

3) Twist both of them together clockwise.

4) Knot tightly at the end.

This process is simple and somewhat therapeutic to perform!
